those happy lucky days when u were around

those were also days of my life when mornings were happy n crisp. when a cup of tea was the reason to take life easy. when finding a penny in my pocket brought excitement in our lives for it would buy the savored samosa. those were the happy lucky days when being carefree wasn't a choice but a habit, when running around for missing a lecture or at times attending the lecture was full of laughter. when exams were nothing but a mockery of no studies yet good marks. when we sold manu's books for a feast to last a week. when vinny was a shy young guy. when the gypsy was the official carrier and simla seemed a stone throw away. when classes were missed to see fallen drops of snow in kasauli, when mothers cooked food enough to feed an army devoured by a handful few us. when parties were larger than life. when ampules were not used only for injections but also to make strings of chimes, when detergent was added to picric acid to ensure a 100 percent yield in experiment, when files were completed on exam dates, when no one fought except for the bunks, when food was eaten like wild animals, when we were the popular ones, when notes were copied, photocopies made and friends would flunk, when every year one internal we all would fail for her birthday was more important than the exam, when driving a scooty with more than 150kgs on it was the challenge won by paddling through the way. when we did what no one else did and left that as a trend. when vinny made the sauce rice n yogi the famous onion parantha, when pooja was the favored eating joint, when MGHwas called mata ka mandir, when ragging was fun.... gone are all those days.... what they have left behind is a smile with the memories we shall all cherish.... but now since we are all together we shall live it all once again for just one day
