Weddings bring along with them such freshness & happiness atleast for a day or few ;-)But, truly, they are a moment when everyone you look at is full of emotions, excitement or just plain food... But they are all full. This weekend I witnessed the holy matrimony of two of our friends, oh they looked so happy that it would fill the coldest heart with warm thoughts & feelings wishing the couple a happy life ahead. Its a new beginning from where you embark upon the path of your life, no more being alone, but now you have a soul mate who would probably share everything with you, their happiness, your tears, be the support in your fears & love when you so need it dear.
I think weddings are the perfect happy endings & beginnings: a happy ending to the bachelorhood & a happy beginning to a new life of togetherness. Even while I am writing all these happy thoughts it would scare me out of my wits if the same beginnings were to be made with an absolute stranger... I don't know still how our parents managed those insecurities, those fears & managed to have a beautiful family. Even today for that matter, all those meetings etc before the arranged marriage seems such a sham. Ofcourse one is gonna put their best foot forward then why bother to even scale someone on parameters which are oh so possible to cheat with.
Whatever the background to it, on the day of wedding everyone thinks of beauty, love & happiness. everyone looks their best & cheerful. I love such environs where life seems a beautiful journey... Falling in love, getting married, everything that is a process in itself but being in that state, I am not too sure!!!
